This diversity has historically been examined at a fine scale, with many studies investigating the faunal composition of specific assemblages. Mosasaur tooth morphology has also been extensively studied, with tooth characteristics commonly being used as phylogenetic characters. However, many studies examining mosasaur communities and tooth morphology have been focused on broader spatiotemporal or phylogenetic scales. This study investigates the spatial distribution and morphological disparity of Campanian WIS mosasaurs in relation to potentially limiting biotic and environmental factors as well as the importance of online, collections-based resources for paleontological data. 110 Campanian mosasaur occurrences recorded in online databases were categorized according to taxonomic rank and plotted on paleogeographic maps. Mosasaurines constitute approximately 45% of the total mosasaurid species within the seaway; russellosaurines are less common and halisaurines are scarce. Tooth morphoguilds indicative of feeding adaptations were also assigned to each taxon based on preexisting literature and novel measurements of tooth dimensions. The majority of Campanian WIS mosasaurids are found to belong to the 'Cut' guild. Mosasaurines display the highest amount of tooth disparity, with some guilds having a more spatially limited distribution potentially related to a combination of biotic and environmental factors. A newly discovered strain of this virus called DMV-D10 was first observed in Dahlia variabilis. DMV-D10 does not induce visible symptoms of infection in the host plant, and is classified as an endogenous pararetrovirus. These viruses have the ability to integrate their viral sequences into the host plant genome, which can be transmitted vertically to offspring. Currently, no studies have examined the host range of DMV-D10. Because DMV-D10 has only been observed in Dahlia, the objective for this study was to determine if presence of DMV-D10 follows an evolutionary relationship among species closely related to Dahlia. It was hypothesized species in the same tribe (Coreopsideae) as Dahlia, such as Cosmos, were more likely to be infected with DMV-D10 compared to species within other tribes in the Asteraceae family. PCR results for a movement protein gene indicate DMV-D10 is more widely spread across Asteraceae than in Dahlia species. DMV-D10 was present in Callistephus chinensis (Astereae tribe), Centaurea cyanus (Cardueae tribe), and Dahlia variabilis (Coreopsideae tribe), but not in Tagetes erecta (Tageteae tribe) or Cosmos bipinnatus (Coreopsideae tribe). Therefore, phylogenetic relationship in host plants does not necessarily determine presence or absence of DMV-D10. This leads to questions of how this virus can move to other species in other tribes. Each team is given a 1000kWhr battery and one hour to travel the longest distance. Therefore, the vehicles design can have a very large impact on its performance. There is also be strategy involved, such as knowing when to overuse power or save power. There are a great number of design aspects that go into a vehicle, but one of most important components is the drive train. Optimizing the design of the single transmission drive train is vital to enhance the performance of the electric vehicle. A disease known as chytridiomycosis has been linked to population declines worldwide. Incidence of the fungus has recently been reported at three locations in south-central Kansas. The objective of our study was to assess the status of chytrid throughout the state of Kansas. In 2015-2016 we conducted surveys at multiple locations. We used real-time PCR to analyze swabs collected at each location. Preliminary results show chytrid present at 4 locations in Kansas. The study is a continuation of a long-term research project conducted by the FHSU Economics Club to track P&amp;amp;E over time. Based on a survey conducted in February of 2023, our FHSU Student Confidence Index declined by nearly 10% from the previous year. A statewide survey was conducted to measure the perceptions of various stakeholders regarding the needs of individuals who have experienced violence and abuse. To measure the service needs from stakeholders who are directly and indirectly working with survivors, it will be insightful for researchers to identify the scope and nature of GBV, gaps in existing services, best practices and successful interventions, the diverse needs of survivors, and barriers to accessing services. Parent involvement was studied by an online survey form sent throughout many different school districts to find out how parents feel about parent involvement in their district. It was found that lack of time and funding are the leading causes for parents to not be involved in their children\u2019s schooling. The most recent laser version is called class IV. The purpose of this study was to review the efficacy of class IV lasers on orthopedic injuries and disorders. Methods: Randomized control trial studies using class IV laser treatment were reviewed. The quality of studies was assessed with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Pain reduction, range of motion (ROM), strength, and disability were the main outcomes. Results: 10 articles met inclusion criteria. Improvements in pain ROM, strength, and disabilities were observed after class IV laser treatment and in follow-up evaluations. Conclusions: Class IV laser therapy shows potential as an effective modality for pain reduction and improving function in patients with orthopedic injuries and disorders.
